What it is:

EventShare is an online marketplace that helps connect entry-level student freelancers with small businesses looking to solve their short-term project needs.

What’s the problem:

Currently, entry-level freelancers are finding it increasingly difficult to break through and gain exposure in a growing market. Especially college students looking for flexible work options.

Why we are different:

With our portfolio builder, project planning integration and subscription based model, we go the extra mile to help these freelancers build their portfolio.

Where the market is:

Based on the freelance union’s market research, freelance annually contributes 1.4 Trillion dollars to the US economy. Furthermore, It is projected that over 50% of US workers will freelance by 2027.

What we are prepared to do & How we’re going to do it:

We are prepared to target student entry-level freelancers who specialize in social entrepreneurship. Media freelance is a multi billion dollar market segment. We also target media freelance because media creation is among the most sought after skills for short-term employers and among the most identifiable skill for beginning freelancers. Popular in-demand media skills include, video and photography, social media management and brand strategy.

Costs and Revenues:

Because we are an online cloud-based offering, our margins are significant, our model is sustainable and we project to see a profitable in under two years.

In addition to bootstrapped funds, we are raising funds for the initial development of our platform to outsource minor coding additions, announce the launch of our mobile app and market our offerings to student freelancers.

Why this matters and why it deserves attention:

We are on the forefront of changing the way job screening is done. In the future, companies are going to be more focused on performance and at the end of the day, it takes more than a LinkedIn and a resume to get you hired. Build a marketable career with EventShare today.
